I pre-commited, but I don’t see my Alt Art Barbarian and Archer unit tiles? Where are they?
If you signed up in the pre-commit and then backed the Kickstarter with the same email address your Alt Art Barbarian and Archer unit tiles will be automatically added when Backerkit goes live after the Kickstarter ends. You will see them as part of your pledge there.

I backed in the first 48 hours, how do I get my free Golden Barbarian King Miniature?
If you pledged within the first 48 hours of the campaign, just maintain your pledge throughout the whole campaign and your Golden Barbarian King Miniature will appear in your Backerkit page when our pledge manager goes live.

Can I back two of a tier?
This is a limitation of Kickstarter, you can only pledge once per account. We’ve tried to add most items to the Add-on section, which is visible on the campaign page and will also be available for purchase in the Backerkit. Please do not back the game with multiple accounts, it ends up getting confusing for everyone, we promise that you’ll be able to get every tier you want in Backerkit, at the same price.

How much do I save backing a tier versus grabbing the game or add-ons later?
Backing a tier with multiple items included is significantly cheaper than the sum of their parts in add-ons! Each tier comes with a discount of some kind so it is best not to wait to grab your games and merch! Additionally, every item comes with a discount through Backerkit/Kickstarter when compared to retail so now is the best price you will get.
Additionally, the Kickstarter Pack cannot be found anywhere else so grab it while you can!

What is Backerkit?
Backerkit is a pledge manager. It will open 4-8 weeks after the Kickstarter ends. You will receive an email from Backerkit when it opens, and we will send an update when the emails start going out. Backerkit will allow you to purchase add-ons, enter your address, and pay for shipping/VAT and any add-ons.

I read that VAT is not included in the shipping prices, is that correct?
VAT will be charged after the campaign closes, so we have estimated these costs by country as best as possible based on the total price of the order. We have done everything possible to keep these extra costs low, and will work to ensure there are no surprises.

Why are shipping costs so variable?
Our shipping estimates are provided to us by our fulfillment hubs across the world. We do not make money on the shipping costs and are focused on being transparent so there are no surprises in the Backerkit.

I plan on moving before the game ships, can I update my address once Kickstarter or Backerkit closes?
Yes, you’ll enter your address in Backerkit, keep the email with your unique Backerkit link and you’ll be able to re-enter and change your address and other options at any point until we lock addresses. We’ll send updates as that date approaches.

Can I use ICloud Private Relay (Apple Relay) to back?
If you use Apple Relay to back, you will not receive your Backerkit email when the time comes to enter your shipping info and grab add-ons in our pledge manager. We recommend not using Apple Relay. If you do back using an Apple Relay, please wait until we send an update about the Backerkit emails going out and then contact us at https://maestromedia.com/pages/contactus and provide us with a different email so we may change it and send you your Backerkit login invite.

Click “Manage My Pledge,” and then “Edit Pledge.” This will let you change your tier as needed. It will also let you add bonus support if you’d like to put money toward add-ons or shipping.

I might want to change my tier level after the Kickstarter ends, can I?
Backerkit allows you to swap to another available tier. When you click the link in the email, you’ll be brought to a welcome page. There is a small hyperlink that says “Switch My Pledge.” You’ll be able to switch tiers there and pay the difference in Backerkit.

Our current shipping estimate is April 2026. That being said, timelines can be fluid. While we intend to ship April 2026, we will be highly communicative throughout the manufacturing and shipping process for the game. If our shipping estimate changes at any time throughout these processes we will notify you via a Kickstarter update.

How large are the character minis?
While the character mini itself can change depending on the size of the character represented, the bases of all the character minis will be 25 mm.

Are the components of the game finalized?
Throughout the campaign and for a couple of months after, we will take in fan feedback and suggestions before finalizing the game. That means that the components shown are not currently in their final state and are subject to licensor approval.
We will share finalized components in future updates as we get closer to delivering the project.

What languages will the game be available in?
The Kickstarter will feature not only an English version of the game, but also translated versions in French, Italian, German, and Spanish. These languages can be selected in our pledge manager Backerkit after the campaign ends.
Additionally, at retail we will release the game in potentially dozens of languages, though we do not have the list of those at this time.

What countries does this project ship to?
We will ship to all countries outside of Mainland China, Cuba, Iran, Russia, Belarus, and all other countries restricted by the US OFAC.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
